Utiel is a charming municipality in the Valencian Community, Utiel is famous for its wineries and wines. You can visit several local wineries and enjoy wine tastings. The region is known for its red wine, especially Bobal. Don't miss the Church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, a beautiful Gothic building. You can also visit the Sanctuary of El Remedio, located in the Sierra de Utiel.

Monumental bullring, one of the oldest in the Valencian Community, opened in 1858, with a seating capacity of 10,000 spectators, partly covered by boxes and nayas by a graceful roof supported by 108 columns with iron capitals with Ionic volutes. Throughout the history of the bullring, the best posters of each era have been displayed as a complement to the important trade fair held in September.

It is one of the most unique attractions of the region and of the Utiel-Requena Wine Route and, in addition, it has been the seat of the Denomination of Origin Regulatory Council since 1986. This complex is made up of two buildings : one circular and one rectangular in plan, which were cellars during the 19th and 20th centuries, respectively. Both constructions have been meticulously restored, so that they kept all the charm of the original building.

The city of Utiel is not only recognized for its good wines but also offers many places of interest to visit, including the Plaza del Sol, the Wine Museum, underground cellars and several churches. You can follow a tourist route through the town center visiting several of these sites or also visit one of the renowned wineries.

A very curious feature are the names of some of its streets that honor people who lived in the town, such as the Callejón del Tío Inocente, Tío Perico, Callejón de la Cana, and Tío Mono, among others. Within the town you will also find good gastronomy in its bars and restaurants.
