The "Hirnstein", a large sandstone block, was deposited here as a "resting stone" by the then pastor Johann David Hirn around 1685. This meant he could take a break here on the way between his parishes. The plaque there reads: "Hirnstein" In 1685, a resting stone was placed here by pastor Johann David Hirn of Beerbach on the former church path from Unterschöllenbach to Beerbach.
