この狭くて湿った道に注意してください。滑るとすぐに転んでしまいます。岩の多い斜面では、すぐに数メートル下の小川に落ちてしまいます。残念ながら、個人的に経験しました。🙈

Camille Lemonnier is said to have been inspired by the valley to compose "L'Hallali".

This spectacular ridge walk follows the rocky heights above the Ourthe valley and offers several breathtaking views, including the iconic La Roche aux Faucons. The route winds through forest, over stony paths and past clearings where you can spot lizards and orchids bloom in spring. Along the way you pass three viewpoints, two of which have benches. The paths are well marked but sometimes narrow and uneven – sturdy shoes are recommended!

The contrast is funny. On the one hand the parking at 25 meters and on the other hand the slope of 110 meters in height when you come from the bank of the Ourthe and can use a bench. 🤔

At 220 metres high, this limestone cliff offers breathtaking views over the meandering Ourthe valley near Esneux. Once a breeding ground for peregrine falcons, this natural monument is now a protected landscape and one of the most beautiful panoramas in Wallonia. Accessible via the Sentier des Crêtes and other hiking trails, the site offers peace, space and a touch of wilderness.
