Shelter in the forest with barbecue area

This commemorates those who died on both sides during the Baden Revolution in a battle on the Scheideck. See also the sculpture in Schopfheim near the market square. Read more about it.

Good starting point for hikes to Kandern or through the Höllschlucht to Endenburg. An information table serves for orientation.

This nice, little hut with a table and bench invites you to take a break.

From here you can start hikes in the Kandern/Wollbach area

A small refuge with hut books, a barbecue area and, above all, a great view towards Hochblauen. In the other direction, behind the vegetation, you can imagine the great view of the Rhine Valley, which was already available elsewhere on the way to the Rehhütte.
