The connection between the Royal Villa, its Gardens, and the city of Monza was established through the so-called "Royal Groves," a triangular area aligned with the southern entrance to the Villa. The regular layout of the Royal Groves consisted of a series of avenues converging on a circular square, traversed by a system of secondary paths, with three squares at the main intersections. The layout still exists today: the lateral avenues (Regina Margherita to the west and Francesco Petrarca to the east) are now accessible to vehicles, as is the converging square (Piazza Citterio), while the other paths are pedestrian.

A good tour, suitable for everyone. There are occasional interruptions due to maintenance work on the cycle path. However, these are easily overcome with small detours.

One of the largest enclosed parks in Europe, it was established on September 14, 1805, by order of Emperor Napoleon, with the aim of making it a model agricultural estate and hunting reserve. Over time, it has become the ideal place for sports, recreation, and relaxation. The park's 720 hectares are home to ancient and modern architectural gems: villas, farmhouses, and mills; cycling trails, an equestrian center, the famous Formula 1 National Racetrack, as well as an incredible variety of flora and fauna.

The Esterle hydroelectric power plant, located on the right bank of the Adda River, began operating in 1914. It is dedicated to the memory of Carlo Esterle, Edison's managing director until 1918. The building, particularly known for its beauty, is constructed in a style derived from the eclectic Lombard tradition. The meticulous ornaments, the geometric and floral motifs, the columns and capitals at the entrance, the wrought iron street lamps and the imposing Gothic-style windows make it appear more like a villa than a real industrial building.

It is very easy to cycle along the canal on the dam. Often you can cross roads without crossing, the surface is good and with a little mutual consideration between pedestrians and cyclists it works.
