The bench in my photo is nicely hidden behind a tree and bush, but you still have a good view of the pond, and you can certainly enjoy the tranquility of the forest if you're not in the middle of a run. (Or you can just take a break until the horseflies eat you up... 😕)

On the western side of the lake there are hardly any public paths to the lake. Everything is built up. I don't know what it looks like on the east side. The one bathing area where I was on the west side is probably overcrowded in summer... In itself it is a beautiful lake with a great view. !!! Lake Weßlinger, idyllically situated in the town of the same name, is the smallest of the five lakes in the Five Lakes Region. Very beautiful little lake. Definitely not a tourist hotspot, so you can enjoy the peace and quiet here.

A nice little lake in the Starnberg district. You can walk comfortably around the lake (approx. 2.5 km) in about half an hour. There are places to stop for refreshments right by the lake.
