ハイキング
The seaside resort in Hechendorf allows the only free, direct lake access on the west side of the Pilsensee. The entire other western shore area is privately owned and not accessible. The complex is well maintained and clean. A nice place to stay for all seasons.

On the western side of the lake there are hardly any public paths to the lake. Everything is built up. I don't know what it looks like on the east side. The one bathing area where I was on the west side is probably overcrowded in summer... In itself it is a beautiful lake with a great view.
