The section on the reservoir side contains steep sections

The abbey church of the former Benedictine monastery in Beaulieu dates back to the 12th century. Romanesque at its finest. The south portal is particularly impressive, with its detailed tympanum depicting Christ with his disciples. The adjoining bell tower dates from the 14th century. Only the remains of the monastery walls and the chapter house remain.

Small metal footbridge to cross the Montane on the "Yellow" circuit, starting from Gimel les Cascades. Caution is advised with children.

The Gour waterfall is located on the yellow-marked hiking trail starting from Gimel Les Cascades. To reach it, you'll need to make a short round trip from the trail. The markings aren't always clear.
