Bradfield Woods is one of the best ancient woodlands in the UK, as there is evidence of its coppicing and upkeep dating back to 1252. With over 370 registered plant species, it boasts a wide variety of flora. But even more astonishing is its array of fungi, as it hosts two species that haven't been recorded anywhere else in Britain.

This pub has great food and good beer - Adnams and Quayside. The telly wasn't on and the music wasn't too loud. I like this pub very much.

In front of St Nicholas' Church sits the Old Moot House, is a 15th century grade II listed building. A moot house is a place where public meetings would have been held. Moot is the Saxon word for meeting.

Full of history and character, Lavenham just calls out to be explored. It is a wonderfully well preserved medieval village and in its heyday was once of the 20 most wealthiest in the country. Evidence of this is clear throughout the village. There are lots of places to stop to eat and drink or to stay if you are looking for a few days away in Suffolk.

Beautiful village with a scenic market square, just south of which is Lifecycle UK, an independent specialist offering Colnago and other leading bike brands, custom builds, bike fits etc.

The descent from the market square outside the guildhall down scenic Prentice Street is steep, fast and great fun but ends at a T-junction so be ready to brake hard!
