Walking through Harlow on a Sunday was quiet an Experience 🎒👋

Been here quite often, not the best, not the worst, just quite overgrown, but still a nice spot put together by some people!

Don't cycle along the Stort, anywhere along its length. It's gash.

It's possible to get around but mind out for the barbed wire.

This open green park is perfect for strolls and a picnic, offering a delightful atmosphere and rich history to explore. The park has ties to Henry VIII, evidence of Roman occupation and echoes of Capability Brown style landscape features – a distinctive 18th century architect style characterised by rolling hills, lakes and ponds, meandering rivers and tree plantations.

Burnt Mill Lock sits along the scenic River Stort Navigation, situated adjacent to Harlow Town train station. This charming waterway is dotted with vibrant canal boats and inviting grassy banks ideal for resting your legs. A picturesque pub named The Moorhen is located near the lock. There are fab waterside views from both inside the pub and from the sunny beer garden. They specialise in chargrilled cuisine, so if you're feeling peckish, I'd definitely recommend a stop.
