The Hofer Mill was built in 1566. It was one of many mills in the Körsch Valley. The well in front of the mill, constructed in 1822, initially served as a hatchery for trout farming and later as a watering trough for horses.

Visitors may enter the facility at their own risk. An information panel explains how the retention basin works.

The Botanical Garden, with approximately 13.4 hectares of land, forms the largest part of Hohenheim's green spaces, along with the State Arboretum (approximately 16.5 hectares). The Hohenheim Gardens have been a special attraction in the south of Stuttgart for over 200 years. As a scientific institution, the Botanical Garden's grounds support research and teaching at the University of Hohenheim.

The playhouse was built in 1788/89 as one of the last buildings in Hohenheim's English Garden. Tuscan columns, supporting the entablature and balustrade, divided the façade into five longitudinal and three transverse axes. The building housed a large hall furnished only with 22 cane chairs and two stoves, inviting visitors to play on rainy days. It had to be restored as early as 1810 and again in 1816. In 1841, it was rebuilt again, the columns removed, and a gardener's apartment was added. The newly added walls of the playhouse were decorated with watercolors by Joseph Neher depicting Heideloff's scenes of the garden. From 1929 onward, church services were held there. Today, the playhouse houses a museum dedicated to the history of Hohenheim.

According to the information board, an old dam was demolished here and the stream was renaturalized. A successful example of natural landscaping. The water ripples picturesquely over the stones. Only a little more accessibility would be desirable.

In 1784, Duke Carl Eugen of Württemberg (1728-1793) built a small pleasure palace on the outskirts of the village where he intended to relax from government business: "Carolus Otio" (Carl at Leisure) is carved into the triangular gable above the year. Modeled on the Wörlitz Park in Dessau, an English garden was laid out around the "Schlössle" with an artificial hilly landscape, water features with a walkable island, and various buildings, including an artificial ruin and a grotto. Today, it houses a therapeutic horseback riding center and is not open to the public.
