The Samaritan Fountain was created in honor of the Samaritans who provided aid during the First World War. The fountain was donated in 1920 by a Bad Homburg family who wanted to remember these helpers. The Berlin sculptor Prof. Hugo Kaufmann gave the memorial its design. A warrior in Roman uniform, lying on the ground, offers a drink to a man dressed in a toga.

The spring, already known to the Romans, was re-drilled in 1841/42. It is located near the Bad Homburg Casino, close to the fountain hall. From here, you can enjoy a magnificent view of Bad Homburg's most beautiful sights and, as it were, take in a sip of health.
