The conference hotel was built after the fall of the Berlin Wall as a savings bank academy, with students staying overnight on site, similar to a boarding school. The architecture was intended to be reminiscent of the airships that took off from here during the Weimar Republic. When the original concept no longer worked, the facility was converted into a hotel in 2004.

A main train station in the middle of nowhere. It was built during the GDR era so that people from Potsdam didn't have to travel through West Berlin on their way to East Berlin.
