The obelisk in Basedow is a peace monument. It stands at the end of Schloßstraße in a line of sight to Basedow Castle. The inscription reads: “Glory to God in the highest - peace on earth and - goodwill to men” There is also a small playground adjacent to the obelisk.

Chill out a bit by the lake in the evening.

Nice to have a monument and close to the church

Good spot to observe the water world of the lake. The path from the bike path to the tower can be very muddy

The Tröbelsee is rather small, but is beautifully situated on the edge of Basedow. It has a small jetty and a lawn for sunbathing. Very nice as a bathing trip and only a few people on site.

This observation tower is located along the cycle path between Schorssow and Dahmen. If you are looking for a detour from the path, you will find an interesting highlight here.
