Great art at the port of Ribnitz-Damgarten.

In the heart of Ribnitz-Damgarten's picturesque harbor promenade stands an extraordinary work of art: "The Circus Is Coming"—an impressive bronze sculpture by the renowned sculptor Jo Jastram. A Gift to the City As a long-time supporter of regional art, the Lions Club Ribnitz-Damgarten was deeply committed to establishing this important work in the city. Out of a profound connection with the artist, the desire arose to create a large-scale sculpture that would not only commemorate Jo Jastram's artistic achievements but also enrich the city's cultural landscape. A suitable location was quickly found: The sculpture group was given its permanent place in 2005. The town hall is right next to the market square.

We were there on a Thursday. There were several stalls selling food, clothing, and small items. An organist was also playing.

As I drove past, loud birdsong drew my attention to the island, where various birds can breed and rest in peace.

A nice place for a snack.
