The Emssee is very beautiful. Unfortunately you can't get to the lake directly, but you can watch it from a vantage point on the Ems cycle path.

With a bit of luck and a lot of patience, you will get to see rare bird species such as the Komoran or the kingfisher in front of your lens. For me it was enough for a couple of ducks and a stork.
