Here in the far west, there's a small memorial stone commemorating German unity. For me, as someone from East Germany, it's a nice gesture.

A beautiful view of the monastery from this bathing spot. Worth visiting any time of year.

Because of the private jetties, there aren't too many swimming spots on the lakes. However, here is a very nice swimming spot with a large lawn for sunbathing, seating, and a magnificent view of the monastery.

Near the monastery on the riverbank, there's a good place to rest. There are benches and a small playground. The view across the water is lovely from here.

This is the grounds of the former monastery. There are, of course, many very old and large trees here. At the northernmost point, there's a playground with a good place to rest.

There is a beautiful view from the opposite side of the lake at this bathing spot.

You're standing with your back to the church here. From here, you actually get a good view across the water. There's a nice playground with rest areas. A really big (and peaceful) goose greeted us here.
