The place is unfortunately somewhat neglected. The street name and the information board (only in Polish) still bear witness to this. However, I got the impression that nobody cares about it anymore.

The settlement of Gryfino is very old. Remnants of the city wall are still preserved in some places. These bear witness to the medieval settlement.

The monument apparently commemorates Siberians. Possibly Poles who were deported to Siberia, or Siberians who came to Poland and fought for Poland in the wars.

It appears to be the southern city gate. Remnants of the fieldstone city wall can still be seen very close by (towards the park).

The church dates back to 1250, but has been rebuilt several times over the years. For example, it has received a new tower.

The building is located somewhat outside the city center. As of December 2025, it was undergoing renovation and is not accessible.

The bridge, along with the church, is the town's most striking structure. It's a steel truss bridge with surprisingly little traffic. You can easily walk on both sides and cross at any time.

Between 1911 and 1913, a new steel bridge was built on the site of a wooden structure dating back to 1860. This three-span truss bridge over the Eastern Oder River was 250 meters long and 10 meters wide. It survived in this condition until World War II. At the end of the war in 1945, the central section of the bridge over the Eastern Oder River was blown up, blocking traffic on Międzyodrze. The bridge was rebuilt in 1955. At the turn of 2006 and 2007, the bridge underwent a major renovation, receiving a new asphalt surface and a new color for the truss. The three-span truss bridge has three spans. The spans are supported by concrete piers. The drawbridge is located in the middle of the central span.
