Mount Smååsa offers some beautiful views. You are now over 600 metres above sea level, looking out over the hilly to mountainous landscape.

Here you can enjoy fantastic views of the rolling countryside and vast forests. A wonderful spot to take a deep breath and relax.

In Hamar, you can walk from one beach to the next. Martodden alone has several sandy beaches. Trees provide shade.

Breum is a small hamlet in the Bergesjøen nature reserve. Situated slightly higher up, it offers a beautiful view of the lake.

Julussa is a pretty little stream located in the Bergesjøen nature reserve. Here, we can see it flowing into the lake.

This swimming area is located in the Bergesjøen nature reserve, on the shore of the lake. It is the perfect place for families, with a small beach, a picnic table, toilets and a parking area.

The Elverum forest has small ponds such as the one at Pers Plass. There is also a small shelter where you can take a break by the water.

The Elverum forest is charming. It has lovely little paths that are perfect for walking. Vegetation reigns here, with tall, thorny trees stretching up towards the sky. A peaceful haven for hiking.
