ギュッシングでの周辺の簡単なハイキングとウォーキング

On the west bank of the fishpond, right next to the bridge over the Strem river, you'll find this rest area. Until the floods, there were benches and a table here. On my last few visits, only the table was left. I hope the local council will put it back in place when the weather warms up. It's a lovely spot with a view of the pond.

For a generation more or less spoiled by peace, this installation is invaluable. Here, one can at least begin to understand life in the trenches.

A creative installation. Not a huge challenge, but hey, it's fun to find the "middle ground" :)

You have to get across it somehow on the border experience trail. That's why I highly recommend this highlight ^^... But seriously, yes, it's a beautiful structure. There are also structures from bygone eras hidden in the waters of the Pinka.

It's beautiful up here. Over the past few years, the castle courtyard has been continuously improved and adapted. In summer, events of the Güssing Cultural Summer take place here on a specially installed open-air stage. With Stipsits, Seidl, Vitasek, and others performing. Fantastic! :)

There are several of these (castle gates). Or rather, passageways. But anyway – they're essential. And they help with the panting climb: Now I'm already at the first one... the second... the third... :)

Always worth a visit. Our "favorite local recreation area" :)

At the first castle gate, the world is still relatively alright... after that, the path climbs really nicely and your calves will be happy ;) But anyway - the view at the top is definitely worth it.
