The wine-growing region near Burgwerben is small but exquisite. The location is on the Burgwerbener Herzogberg. A wide variety of wines are harvested here. The winegrowers' farms are well-maintained and decorated with beautiful flowers (a tour gave me this impression).

From the square at the church you have a good view.

Anyone traveling along the Saale River should definitely plan a stop at the Öblitzschleuse lock. There, you'll not only find a wonderful atmosphere right on the water, but also some truly delicious food. The kettle goulash, which has been served here for a long time and is a delight every time, is particularly recommended. Also new to the menu is the Starnberger Helle beer, which goes perfectly with it—a real insider tip for connoisseurs!

Very quaint pub, there is delicious food and drinks, always worth a visit!
