After rain it is very muddy here 🤷

Unfortunately, the lake and the water cannot be reached directly due to the dense vegetation, and even the view is limited. The shelter is small, but as we all know, there is room in the smallest hut ;-) Quiet at all times!

Perfect resting place to cool off in the water, eat and take a nap.

A detour to the observation tower is worthwhile: don't forget your binoculars.

Good parking in front of the village community center

According to a local resident, the age was determined using ultrasound measurements. The linden tree is said to be over 400 years old...er, its trunk...luckily the linden tree was not cut down and the annual rings were counted 😁. The circumference of the linden tree is gigantic. A bench with a table invites you to take a break. In the dark, the linden tree is illuminated by a spotlight that is housed in a fountain.

Here you have a beautiful view of the Postmoor, and with a bit of luck you can observe rare birds.
