From here you have a beautiful view of the Hunte and a little later also of the Hunteholz

Very interesting underpass parallel to the river and under the railway. Coming from the south, you then drive through a beautiful park. After you have crossed the place, you can still follow the Hunte until you come back to a park.

Here you come from the south to Barnstorf. On the left is the direct path, on the right it goes through the park with some remarkable trees and secluded places.

The overpass (bridge) leads to the underpass. If you are cycling, it is safer to get off the underpass, as it can be very slippery. After the two bridges there are some benches on the other side that invite you to linger. https://youtu.be/jKcJA0etKKk

"The old grandma" is a book over 150 years old with a gnarled, striking "face". An impressive natural monument. Incidentally, here in the Hunteholz not only deer, but also wild boar and wolves should be.
