As early as 1230, a church in Beidendorf was mentioned in the Ratzeburg tithe register. During a storm in 1703, the church suffered major damage. And a lightning strike in the tower caused a fire, which ultimately destroyed the tower and the already damaged nave. The church was then rebuilt. It was not until 1996 that the church was extensively renovated. Today, it is actively used by the parish.

Diagonally opposite the manor house is the monastery café. But instead of the rustic, simple furnishings that would be typical of a monastery, you will find a café with a touch of spirituality. The shop in the café also sells mainly esoteric items.

The rest area is near the former Petersdorf train station. Very nicely done up. Trains no longer stop here.

It is a place steeped in history with the former mill there. From here, towards the north, a very beautiful and wild section of the Wallensteingraben begins.

Very beautiful landscape here: the entire forest is under water (at least in winter). Great pictures, wonderful peace.
