One of a total of five ponds in the Pansevitz park, its rectangular shape can be completely circumnavigated. The well-maintained path is lined with avenue trees. The so-called "North Avenue" leads you directly there, is densely leafy in summer, provides pleasant shade, and creates a very special atmosphere.

The two buildings of the historic craftsmen's workshops (Kremkehaus and Ifeuhaus) are part of the Gingst Museum Farm complex, which is complemented by other buildings and an inner courtyard. The complex also includes a studio, a blacksmith's shop, an open-air stage, and the museum café. It is normally open three days a week (Thursday to Saturday) between May and the end of October. Various events, markets, guided tours, and painting courses take place here throughout the season, enlivening the place. The "Green Market" on Saturdays also features fresh bread from the stone oven – delicious!

Anyone who wants to can also take a seat. A total of 13 chairs are grouped around the long table in the middle of the green lawn and would be just enough for Jesus and his 12 followers. Anyone who likes can think up their own story about it. It's definitely a nice idea.

The name alone is tempting: The Love Island in the Wonder Lake! Since 2014, the new wooden bridge has led across to the 50 m² island, and a comfortable bench invites you to linger and look out over the water. A mighty weeping willow lets its branches hang casually into the water and forces its way into the picture in a photogenic way. A must every time you walk through the park!

The Kidney Pond is the smallest of the four ponds in the Pansevitz Palace Park. Like the Heart Pond on the other side of the path, the pond's shape gives it its name.

Very beautiful park and forest cemetery

Designed in the style of an English landscape park, the Pansevitz castle park and forest cemetery is a wonderfully quiet place to stay all year round. Lots of greenery, ancient trees, well-kept paths, many benches and various ponds (one of which has a small island and a walkable bridge) make this park a highlight not only for dog walkers.
