The Heinersdorf village church, with its wall and cemetery, the first parts of which were built in the second half of the 13th century, is located in what is now the Heinersdorf district of the Pankow district. It is one of more than 50 village churches in Berlin that have been listed as historical monuments since the 1980s.

You can visit it for free. The circular hiking trail around Heinersdorfer See goes right through the small zoo.

Beautiful lake with a circular hiking trail. Also easy to get around by bike. There are two main bathing areas. One in Heinersdorf and one in Behlendorf. There is also a portable toilet in Behlendorf in the summer. There is also a nice fireplace there.

The rolls and the Briesener eggs are highly recommended.

The site is one of ten former NVA radio relay stations and the only one that is still accessible today. All others are in subsequent use by the Bundeswehr. Inside there are numerous rooms to explore, a flashlight/headlamp is absolutely useful here. Perhaps the most interesting is the main broadcast room, which has been clad in wood. As in all Lost Places, proceed with extreme caution. There are shards of glass lying around and pieces of metal hanging at eye level.

The castle and park are worth seeing at any time of the year.

The core of the building was built in the second half of the 13th century under the influence of the Knights Templar.
