The solid log cabin at Lake Papillensee, along with a table and benches, invites you to take a short break. In good weather, a jetty and a small swimming area provide unobstructed access to the lake.

This large shelter is a great place to rest when the weather is bad. When the weather is nice, it is better to sit at the rest area closer to the lake. It is unclear why there is a boulder with steps here.
