ヴィッテンベルゲの学校の歴史は、1895年にレアルシューレが開校したことから始まります。その後、この学校はレアルギムナジウムとして、また東ドイツ時代には拡張中等学校（EOS）として運営されました。1992年からは、この学校は再びギムナジウムとして活動しています。この学校は科学分野に特化したプロフィールを持っています。生徒たちは、自由時間に学際的なプロジェクトに取り組み、「Jugend forscht」のようなコンテストに参加する機会があります。毎年開催される「科学の日」には、ブランデンブルク州、ベルリン、メクレンブルク＝フォアポンメルン州の大学の講師が科学的なテーマで講演を行います。

ヴィッテンベルゲのキュリー＝マリ＝ギムナジウム（ブランデンブルク州）は、1895年に私立高等男子校として設立され、1900年にサンドフルトリフトにある本館に移転しました。改革的なギムナジウムを経て、現在は2つの史跡指定建築物に入居する、科学に重点を置いた公立ギムナジウムとなっています。

港は元々、ヴィッテンベルクの産業全盛期に港湾地区として建設されました。港湾地区の産業施設が閉鎖された後、Nedwighafenは近代的なスポーツボート港に転換されました。現在、Nedwighafenはエルベ川の水上観光客にとって中心的な目的地であり、Prignitz地域の観光において重要な要素となっています。街の中心部に位置し、Alte Ölmühleのすぐ近くにあります。

The Marie Curie Gymnasium in Wittenberge looks back on a long history. Founded in 1895 as a private boys' secondary school, it developed over the years into a significant educational institution in the region. Established as a private boys' school in 1895, it was transferred to municipal ownership in 1898. The main building (Building 1) was constructed between 1899 and 1900 according to plans by Wittenberge's city architect, Friede Everhard Bruns. In 1900, the school moved into its newly constructed building on Sandfurttrift, designed in the Neo-Gothic style with exposed brick facades. Today, the Gymnasium places a strong emphasis on science subjects and has been a member of the Association of Mathematical and Scientific Excellence Centers at Schools (MINT-EC) since 2000.

The Old Main Customs Office in Wittenberge dates back to the 19th century and served to monitor the flow of goods across the Elbe River. After years of disuse, it was renovated and converted into modern apartments, while preserving its historical appearance. The building remains a testament to Wittenberge's economic importance in Elbe River trade.
