The route is quite boring in winter, more suited to warm days. And only 3 stamps here, there are nicer places.

This mostly flat, level, and clearly marked circular hiking trail near Crawinkel can be completed in all weather conditions, even in the early morning twilight. The route is very well signposted, and a total of four Touringen stamps can be collected along the way. Ultimately, the trail and its surroundings also serve as a reminder of a dark chapter in Germany's history, around 1940 and afterward.

Quite apart from the fact that "Thuringia" is a very apt name for this highlight, the view of the open pasture landscape is a delight. Horses and cattle make this landscape possible in the first place. Very impressive.
