Very important ecosystem for nature and wildlife

The Hackenberger Mill in Saarburg is a 13th-century mill museum that is open seasonally. The season begins April 13th and is open from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The entrance is located below the waterfall in Staden. The museum offers, among other things, a new listening tour and a detailed model of the mill.

Benches are located beneath the jump, perfect for a break with a view. You have to be a fan of the wobbly steps on the way there 😏

A real “arena view” and the best place to photograph a 180 degree panorama of the vineyards in the “Ockfener Bockstein” location.

The Bismarck Tower is located on a steep slope between Schoden and Ockfen on the Moselsteig side path Saar-Riesling-Steig. From here you can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of the Saar Valley, Schoden, Biebelhausen and the Ayler Kupp vineyard.

Let yourself be carried away by this beautiful city with its small river (the Leuk) which crosses the old town and the square where the terraces are legion, and of course this superb waterfall which feeds old mills and this water joins the Saar below
