Nestled in the countryside, the Heimathütte am Gerichts (local home hut) was built with great idealism and dedication by the Züsch Local History Association. It is a popular meeting place for hikers, clubs, and festivals. 🌲 A saying on the hut reminds us how closely connected humans and nature are: "Humans need nature – nature doesn't need humans. Therefore, respect the forest, fields, and meadows, and enjoy the air and sunlight." 💡 Tip: The facility offers seating and barbecue areas, perfect for a short break during your hike.

Four-legged friends aren't left out either at the Dollberg spring: A dedicated water dispenser ensures dogs can drink fresh water along the way. This makes the hiking break a welcome refreshment for them, too. Tip: Perfect for anyone hiking with a dog – plan a drink break! 🥤🐶

In the middle of the forest on the Dollberg, you'll come across an extraordinary spring – the Dollberg Spring. What at first glance looks like a rustic wooden barrel turns out, upon opening, to be a small "supply station": Fresh spring water, beer, wine, apple spritzer, and even schnapps are provided here by the municipality. True to the principle of "self-service & honesty," hikers can refresh themselves while enjoying a piece of regional culture. Tip: 💡 Be sure to bring some small change! The prices are fair, but the water costs a symbolic €5 – which underscores the special value of this spring. If you'd like to take a photo, there's even a note on the price list: "One photo only – 20 cents 😉."
