A chance discovery for me. A part of the Atlantic Wall. With some information.

The Fiemel Battery in Termunten is part of the Atlantic Wall, a more than 5,000-kilometer-long defensive line along the west coast of Europe. The Atlantic Wall runs from southern France to northern Norway. This defense system was built by the Germans during World War II to prevent an Allied invasion from the sea.

Good information center with a viewing area on the roof. No admission.

great location (sometimes with and sometimes without water)

Sat on the terrace for 20 minutes waiting for the service that never came, which is a shame because it is a beautiful terrace with a ditto view
