Worth seeing fountain with a figure carrying vines on a wine barrel.

Former Criesbach wine press, originally built around 1700 and renovated in 1979/80. In front of it is a fountain worth seeing with a figure carrying vines on a wine barrel.

Huge and impressive.

Flat gravel path, cool and shady in summer, sunny in winter. Later part of the path is very steep!

A place to take a break and look around.

A circular walk starts from Forchtenberg, a beautiful medieval town in the Hohenlohe district, where you first explore the old town and encounter places from Sophie Scholl's childhood, then you walk past the Forchtenberg castle ruins, through the forest along the Kupfer back to the town. Always follow the sign of the castle. A beautiful circuit of about 11 km.
