The village church was built in the 13th century, the tower was added in the 15th century. The church building is quite large for such a small place. The surrounding cemetery is quiet and is home to two impressive weeping beeches. The very steep, half-ruined staircase on the north-east side of the churchyard is exciting.

The bathing area looks quite inviting. There is a covered rest area and the sandy beach looks well-kept. There are many water birds to observe and you have a good view of the small island in the Pütter See.

The path on the dike is easy to walk on because the grass here is kept quite short. It is easy to see how it holds back the flood water from the lake side. There is a lot of reeds left and right: a great hiding place for wild boars!
