Man-made biotope

A fairly wide wooden plank bridge spans the Enz River near Mühlhausen. The bridge serves as a connection towards Roßwag and is also used by agricultural vehicles. Memorial stones are located on both sides of the bridge.

The Mühlhausen power plant is one of the most remarkable facilities of its kind due to its favorable location on one of the many bends of the Enz River. The plant is operated with three Francis turbines, each with a capacity of 350 kW. To date, an average of approximately 4.2 million kWh of electricity has been generated and fed into the public grid annually. The plant complex consists of an impressive weir, the turbine hall, and the machine and switchgear building.

Magnificent view of the rock gardens, as well as starting point of a steep path through the vineyards as a connection between the hiking trails above the vineyards and the Enz river.

One of the few pedestrian bridges over the Enz river in this area, offering a beautiful view of the water and the surrounding Enz meadows.

The farm-made ice cream parlor is very conveniently located on the hiking and cycling trail and offers a very large selection of different flavors. There are also some tree trunks in front that can be used as seating.
