Fantastically romantic moated castle with great surroundings!

The mill located north of the Haus Engelborg castle complex was renovated in 1907. It still regulates the water level of the moats, which are fed by the Dinkel river.

At the beginning of the 20th century, the estate served as the official residence of the bailiff of Hülst for the municipality of Legden. The building underwent extensive renovations in 1988/89 and further energy-efficient upgrades in 2011/12. The estate is now privately owned and can only be viewed from the outside.
