A must-visit for Münsterlanders!

Even in the otherwise relatively flat Münsterland region, there are beautiful viewpoints. Here, on the edge of the Ichterloh, at 99 meters above sea level, is the highest point in the municipality of Nordkirchen. A relaxing view of the Capelle district and the Kohuesholz forest, which belongs to Werne, awaits the hiker.

From the hill, you can enjoy a sweeping view of the Münsterland park landscape. At the foot of the depression once stood Ichterloh Castle, which, after approximately 500 years of history, was sadly demolished in 1875. The rest area is very beautiful and offers plenty of space for visitors, with a table and benches, as well as two hiking loungers.

There are many beautiful corners to discover in the parks of the "Westphalian Versailles" - a stroll is well worth it!
