A beautiful forest swing that invites you to linger. With the forest behind you, you can peacefully enjoy the view of the surrounding countryside and even catch a glimpse of the Bielefeld TV Tower.

A quiet and well-maintained rest area about 7-10 minutes walk from the Haus Ascheloh car park.

Great cabin, candles and tablecloths... beautiful forest all around, just lovely! And on top of that, we had a nice chat with the forester (at least I think it was him) 🤣 He was an absolutely nice and polite person, and his 9-year-old dog is also very sweet and cuddly...

Originally, the Arminius Spring was enclosed to refresh hikers and served as a natural drinking source. Today, it still invites visitors to take a break and enjoy the fresh spring water. This idyllic rest area is also a stop on the "Path for Connoisseurs" themed trail and is dedicated to the sense of smell. At a scent stele, you can experience the typical forest scents up close. Just give it a try!

Very nice this marble track in the forest. Take some change with you (50 cents or 1 euro) so you can buy a ball. And of course let it go through the track.
