If you want to use it (with children), you should take a cloth and water with you to clean your feet. Ideally, of course, in the height of summer: it's warm then and you don't sink so deep.

Here you can relax and observe with the telescope.

Today the complex impresses with a pond and valuable, decorated outbuildings such as a tavern and chapel. The latter is considered a popular wedding location.

The depth of sinking probably depends on the weather - during our visit it had rained a lot in the past few days, so ankle depth would definitely not have been possible ;-)

The rest area built by LJ Vitis in 2021 invites you to linger. Here you have a wonderful view over Vitis and the surrounding area. With the telescope mounted on a pedestal you can get an even more detailed overview.
