The Jakobsbrunnenweg in Amstetten is a 1.1-kilometer-long hiking route that leads through shady sections.

The Dominikbrunnen fountain is located on the Jakobsbrunnenweg trail in Amstetten and is a popular spot along this hiking route. Due to landslide, the fountain was damaged, prompting renovation work. This included replacing the supply line, installing a new drainage system, securing the fountain wall, and renewing the trough. Across from the fountain is a beautiful Kneipp pool.

The beautiful trail along the Ybbs offers some beautiful motifs - the colony of greylag geese seems to have been living here for a long time
