St. Andrew's Parish Church is the spiritual center of Puchenau and a remarkable example of modern sacred architecture. The current building was constructed in the 1970s according to plans by architect Roland Rainer and consecrated in 1976. With its clear, geometric form and warm brick walls, the church blends harmoniously into the village landscape while radiating simple dignity and tranquility. The interior impresses with its uncluttered design and natural light, which places the altar at its center. The altar table, tabernacle, and organ also date from the original construction and form a harmonious ensemble. Beyond its architectural significance, the church is a vibrant meeting place for the community – a place of faith, encounter, and cultural openness.
