The Old Town Hall in Traismauer, located directly opposite the current municipal office, dates back to the late 15th century. From 1553 onwards, it served as both a court and town hall. In later years, it housed, among other things, the registry office and a maternity clinic. The building is a listed monument (entry no. 73656 in the Austrian list of monuments) and is considered an important historical building in the town. The building has undergone extensive renovation, including the modernization of the sanitary facilities and the installation of a drinking water fountain.
