Plaza Livu (Līvu laukums) is a lively square in Riga's Old Town, surrounded by historic buildings such as the Great Guild Hall and the "Cat House." Once the Rīdzene River flowed here, today it is home to flowerbeds, cafés, and street performers. Colorful and lively in summer, partly used as an ice rink in winter, it's a central meeting place for locals and tourists alike.

St. Peter's Church in Riga is one of the oldest and most striking churches in the city. Dating back to the 13th century, it boasts impressive Gothic architecture and a 123-meter-high tower offering an observation deck overlooking Riga. The tower was destroyed several times and was recently rebuilt with a modern steel structure. Today, the church serves as a venue for services, concerts, and exhibitions and is one of the most popular attractions in the Latvian capital.

The buildings at Elizabetes iela 33 in Riga, specifically Mikhail Eisenstein's Art Nouveau masterpiece, are a fascinating glimpse into the fantasy world of Art Nouveau architecture. Particularly striking here are the sphinxes and human faces that decorate the facade, reflecting the exotic tastes of the time. The combination of blue tiles and white ornamentation makes for a striking appearance that stands out from the classic European style and hints at the influence of Austrian Art Nouveau. While the building shines as a visual masterpiece, Eisenstein was often criticized for neglecting functional aspects, which underlines the building's appeal as a pure work of art.

Lake Skaista is located in the Cenas-Tīrelis bog area, one of the largest raised bogs in Latvia and an important nature reserve. The lake and the surrounding bog offer an almost mystical atmosphere, especially in calm weather, when the clouds are reflected in the water's surface and the bare, partly twisted tree skeletons watch over the land like silent sentinels. The remote location and the untouched nature invite you to a moment of inner peace, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Here you will also find an interesting biodiversity, which makes Lake Skaista a popular place for birdwatchers. The lake is home to rare birds such as the whooper swans and the crane, which migrate through in spring and autumn. There are also informative boards pointing out the ecological importance of the area and drawing attention to the fragile balance of the bog. The visit is facilitated by wooden walkways that lead you safely through the marshy areas and give you the opportunity to go deep into the moor without disturbing nature. The area also has historical traces dating back to the First World War, when it was used as a strategic area. Today, however, there is little to remind us of that time - silence and nature have reclaimed the terrain and restored it to its original beauty.
