The sandbank is the photo highlight on the island. Many couples get married here. In the evenings it is crowded because of the clear view of the setting sun. At low tide a new sandbank appears in front of the tip that you can walk on. The contrast of the blue water with the white sand is unique 😀

The diving center offers comfortable diving on the house reef. For this purpose, lead and bottles are brought to the respective entrances (7 pieces). You just have to bring your equipment (without bottles) back yourself. There were boat dives twice a day with two different boats. The check dive was done quickly. Register the day before at 5:00 p.m. and the next day at 10:00 a.m. explanation of the processes in the base and then to the house reef. A top resort. Clean and with many options. The bars and restaurants are great and the selection is huge. The beach is fantastic and the underwater world is easy to explore.

Halllo U.S., Kuramathi is one of the larger holiday islands of the Maldives. In my profile you will find a round trip that I recorded on the island. a circumnavigation was about 5km. A very nice holiday island. Inside, the island looks like a large park with tropical plants. There are several restaurants and bars spread all over the island. The food is excellent !!! (As of - Dec.2017) Highly Recommended!
