A pleasant place to take a break. It's especially beautiful in autumn, as you'll be enchanted by the colorful autumn leaves of the vines.

The view of Weibertreu Castle and the town of Weinsberg is a true highlight in the Heilbronn region. The castle ruins sit picturesquely above the vineyards and offer a fantastic view across the Weinsberg Valley to the Löwenstein Mountains.

An idyllic lake in the countryside? It feels like over 80% of it's private property and often leased by fishing clubs. (As if it were any kind of feat to get a fish out of that oversized bathtub.) Save yourself the trip; you can't get in and you can't see much. And this is what they call Weinsberg's "city lake." Well, if it were open to the public, it would probably be quite littered... The hiking trails around it are wonderful, as long as you don't get too close to the motorway.
