イギリス庭園の原則に基づき、1848年頃に幅約130メートルの公園がベレンローバッハに沿って斜面を登るように造られました。1890年に王立療養院が建設された後、公園は現在の約800メートルの長さに拡張されました。小川の流れとそれに沿って造られた池が公園の景観を特徴づけています。

The White Elster River is 257 km long and originates in the Czech Republic. It flows through the German cities of Bad Elster, Plauen, Gera, and Leipzig.

The Flora Temple, created in 1909 on the south side of Lake Louisa, depicts Flora, the goddess of spring and flowers, and is now one of Bad Elster's most romantic spots. The original bronze statue, created by the renowned sculptor Peter Pöppelmann, fell victim to World War II. In 1994, a new Flora statue was created based on a design by the sculptor Ernst Julius Hähnel from 1842. Donors from Elster made it possible to have it cast in an Elster art foundry. The ceremonial unveiling took place on September 13, 1997.

The Royal Spa House was built in the Neo-Renaissance style between 1888 and 1890, the year of the Three Emperors, under the direction of the state architect Trobsch from Zwickau. As a whole, its representative design impressively underlines the international importance and acceptance of the Saxon royal spa at the end of the 19th century.
