I really enjoyed the Franconian Open-Air Museum! 👍 I was here for 5 hours, but of course, you could spend much more time here. 😉 So much interesting information and so many beautiful impressions are overwhelming. 🤩

A hunting lodge in an open-air museum is definitely something special. The building stands out from the others. Very pretty and, above all, bright – which isn't usually the case with the other buildings. 😎

The war memorial, erected by the city of Windsheim in 1928, is quite impressive with its so-called Roland figure.

After the great city fire of 1730, the small city-republic of Windsheim once again demonstrated its self-confidence by building a large and magnificent government building, the town hall. It truly resembles a princely palace.

The Beautiful Fountain gives the Weinmarkt, already surrounded by beautiful houses, its special flair. The patron of the Free Imperial City of Windsheim, Emperor Charles VI, father of the great Maria Theresa, stands proudly on the fountain column.

The former gymnasium at Seetor has been beautifully restored. 👍
