The foundation stone for the Hundertwasser House in Bad Soden was laid in 1990. The Hundertwasser House in Bad Soden is named after the Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser (1928-2000). The residential building, whose foundation stone was laid in November 1990, incorporates the first Bad Soden spa building, the Haus Bockenheimer, dating back to 1722. The building, which features a nine-story, 30-meter-high tower, contains 17 completely different apartments ranging in size from 120 to 230 square meters.

Today, July 12th, we stopped there while hiking. It's a wonderful old manor house, beautifully maintained. It has a huge beer garden. The menu isn't particularly extensive, but it's highly recommended as a destination. Large portions, the staff are very attentive, and the food is delicious. We all had a great time!

Whether it's a snake, a dragon, or a crocodile, this seating area invites you to linger or play.

On March 26, 1945, two people were shot here in the Eichwald forest. Wendelin Bauer was just 18 years old when he lost his life here. Along with another young man whose name is unknown. A court martial in Bad Soden sentenced the young men to death for desertion. From March 26 to 29, 1945, American troops captured Frankfurt without much resistance... too late for the two.

Beautiful, natural section that is great for hiking. Pure nature.
