From Baugtua it is a nice and easy climb over Nonstind to Måtinden. You get a nice panoramic view as a reward before you either start the way back or walk towards Bleik. We chose the latter, even though it meant 2.5 miles (4 km) on the road between the end and the start of the walk. Halfway we were spontaneously offered a lift by a super friendly local.

Å is primarily a fishing village museum and consists of 23 buildings that are 150 years old and still in their original location. Toilets cost 20 NOK and are really clean. There is a sink with free water for washing & cleaning. The visitor center will open fall 2024, but there is a small kiosk selling snacks. It’s open on Sundays.
