You can move around freely in the wildlife enclosure.

A beautiful hike with fantastic views. Look out for the stork sign. One trail has a red arrow, the other has a blue arrow. The paths are well-maintained and easy to walk.

The Bleichenbach once formed the border between the County of Hanau-Münzenberg and the County of Isenburg and thus divided the village of Gelnhaar, through which the stream flows here.

The mountain pine is actually a completely normal tree – a little crooked, a little prickly, and it prefers to grow in the mountains. But… at some point, it thought to itself: "Why am I called the mountain pine if I don't have slippers?! That's so mean! People expect slippers – and I'm standing around here barefoot!" One night, a mountain gnome came by and hung two beautiful shoes on it. Since then, it's been the only pine with real slippers! And now all the hikers grin when they pass by – because they think: 😄 "Oh look – the mountain pine has finally grown its slippers!" And who knows… maybe it even secretly wanders through the forest at night… very quietly, so no one can hear it.
